"Atlas Stone" is a song by British progressive metal band Haken. It is the third song from the band's third album, The Mountain.
Despite not being released as a single, the song was uploaded to InsideOut Music's YouTube channel on 22 July 2013, just over a month before the album's release.
Basis
The song's lyrics roughly revolve around the tale of Atlas,
a Greek mythological figure condemned to hold up the heavens or sky for eternity. This myth is paralleled with the the human desire to persevere by comparing the trials and tribulations of life
to the struggles of Atlas.
