The Guyver

"The Guyver" is a song by British progressive metal band Haken. It is the earliest Haken song on record, dating back to before the release of Enter the 5th Dimension in 2008.

The track remained unknown for thirteen years before the band played a recording of the song on a livestream in July 2020.

Production

"The Guyver" was likely recorded prior to Ross Jennings re-joining the band to record vocals on Enter the 5th Dimension.

NOTE:
The recording of the July 2020 livestream that the song was played on has since been lost, but kind Reddit user u/ziltoid101 has provided us with a recording. The band talk over it a little bit and there are a few Twitch sounds, but this is probably the best we're going to get.
