So, Charlie and Conner are out of the band, huh? Yeah, the news shocked me as much as I'm sure it shocked the rest of you. I wish there was more I could say
on the matter myself, but I'm just glad that things seem to have ended cordially between the band members. So, join me in taking this time to remember all of
the great stuff the both of them contributed to the band.
I think it's easy to say that their contributions to Fauna were some of their greatest. "Elephants Never Forget" was perhaps Charlie's own little Haken swansong, and a song that Fauna wouldn't be quite as incredible as it is without. Of course, Conner also made his songwriting debut on Fauna with "Beneath the White Rainbow", an eclectic but lovely piece that, combined with Ross' megaphone, was perhaps one of the highlights of the Evening With... tour. I can only hope we get to see these talented musicians in the future, whether on a future Tiktaalika project, or something entirely new. -Emily, Site Architect <3 |
