It is unclear if the opening of the song is a reference to "Shapeshifter" or "Cockroach King" as it sounds melodically near identical to both, though it is likely the latter.
"Ectobius Rex" is a Latin name that translates directly to "Cockroach King". It is also the namesake of Dr. (E. C. Tobias) Rex.
