Raymond Hearne

Raymond Noel Hearne is a British progressive metal drummer and tuba player, most known for being the drummer of Haken.

Personal Life

Hearne was born on 30 October 1989 in London, England. He studied various brass instruments at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama before taking up drums shortly before joining Haken.

Outside of Haken, Hearne is a freelance tuba player.

Haken

Hearne was invited to Haken by Pete Jones as the two were friends prior to joining the band. He would then go on to play on every album from Enter the 5th Dimension onwards.

Collaborations

In 2020, Hearne featured as a guest drummer on a cover of "The Good Doctor" by British progressive rock band Kyros, also featuring Andy Robison from the band Ihlo.

In March 2022, Hearne provided tuba and drums for Deutsch Bank's performance of Macbeth at the Globe Theater in London, UK.
