Peter Anthony Ralph Jones is a British electronic and progressive metal keyboardist, most known for being the current keyboardist of Haken.
Personal Life
Outside of music, Jones is a Data Scientist and holds a PhD in theoretical physics.
Music
Haken
Jones met Haken on an online forum where he was enlisted as the band's keyboardist for their demo album Enter the 5th Dimension.
Jones would later leave the band to focus on his own studies at University.
Despite leaving Haken in 2008, Jones would remain close to the band, providing additional drum programming on Vector and providing keyboards
on the track "Only Stars" on Virus.
In 2022, after the departure of former keyboardist Diego Tejeida, Jones returned to the band as keyboardist.
Nested Shapes
In 2018, a growing passion for electronic music culminated in the project Nested Shapes.
Jones describes Nested Shapes as "where intricate grooves, detailed sound design and a rich harmonic palette take the listener on an immersive sonic journey".
Collaborations
In 2020, Jones released a remix of the song "Reanimate" by British progressive metal band Ihlo, the song was later uploaded to the band's streaming pages.
